Joined as an SDE 3 on an Engg Manager path. Led multiple teams with a mix of Frontend, Backend and QA, of up to 10 directly reporting engineers at a time. Key responsibilities include guiding and mentoring the team with HLD, LLD and code reviews. Setting up goals and growth paths for the reportees and reviewing their performance and giving feedback during bi-annual reviews along with regular bi-weekly 1 on 1s. Planning and leading of activities like tech review, cost optimization and tech simplification within the team for our services. Other responsibilities included closing PRD with product and preparing engineering Gantt with milestones view. Launched major growth hacking products on Swiggy App like Order for others, Social Events, Discount discovery for campuses and societies. - Led the development of BharatPe's first consumer product (12% Club - https://twelve.club/) with P2P lending and deposit. Quickly developed and launched the product and helped it smoothly scale to 750,000 users in 6 months. - Led the development of a centralized notification service to be used by all BharatPe products to send notifications via SMS, PUSH, WhatsApp, Email with multiple providers for each mode. The service has built-in load balancing among multiple providers at a template level. The service was efficiently handling 600-700 TPS at peak traffic at the time. The service can be accessed via API, service-client or Kafka. This service helped other products to quickly implement and monitor notifications in their system. - Led the development of a centralized NBFC service with multiple NBFC partners to abstract the process of loan creation from all of the lending products. - Led the development of chat bot in Bharatpe app. - Automated the process of QR Sticker delivery to the merchants. The process included starting with pending orders and generating QR sticker and sending them to the printing company. And generating pickup and delivery requests in parallel with delivery partners. The service handled daily orders for QR. - Mentor team members in writing good quality code using design patterns and best practices.

Developed an “Automator – SIPP test tool” - A GUI tool to test multiple sipp calls at once. - Development carried using TCL/TK and EXPECT in UNIX environment. - Had good knowledge of SIP protocol, SIPP tool, IMS. The tool goes into client and server folders to fetch xml scenario files one by one. It then creates sipp commands within the automator and shows the scenarios as check buttons on the screen. Users can select any check button and the corresponding test case will be executed. Parameter values like client ip, server ip, ports etc can be saved to a file which can be used later. “EXPECT” extension is used to interact with the running process. After execution finishes all test cases, the tool catches the errors (if any) and creates logs and shows a summary report of execution.
