Software Engineering Intern
- Worked on a research project to develop a global write ahead log (WAL) for RocksDB, a key-value store. The project's motivation is to maximize write throughput for multiple RocksDB instances on a single node by collecting and serializing log writes to a single physical disk. - Participated in an intern hackathon to develop IRIS, a filesystem in user space for Zeus (an internal Nutanix service built on Apache Zookeeper). IRIS maps file system POSIX commands and ioctls to Zeus functions, allowing programs written in any language to access Zeus through the filesystem.
