    ripple

    Software Engineer

Designed and delivered multiple payment flow features on RippleNet, a decentralized payment processing network. These features involved eventual consistency of payment properties and are resilient to tampering by any node involved with the payment or quote. Created jobs responsible for periodically purging Personally identifiable information (PII) older than a configurable amount. In production, this set of jobs handles millions of records at a time. Lead initial investigations into use of Ansible and Terraform to emulate on-premise deployments and into creating a graph-based domain model of RippleNet. Experience defining and organizing GitLab pipelines and balance the tradeoffs between test thoroughness and development velocity. Tech Stack: Java, Spring, Hibernate, Immutables, GitLab

    intuit

    Software Engineer

Drove three projects in the Intuit Futures group: 1. Delivering mathematical optimization for use at scale across Intuit using Python, Go, and JavaScript (React.js) 2. Designing and implementing performance improvements for the core TurboTax Engine in C++ 3. Exploring the use of Zero-Knowledge Proofs to improve customer experience

    intuit

    Software Engineer

Interned in Intuit Futures as a software engineer. Tech Stack: ReactJS, Redux-Saga, Xtend/Java, Xtext, AWS Responsibilities include developing a full stack web application as part of a natural language processing pipeline and investigating the state of quantum annealing technology for use at scale.

    intuit

    Software Engineer

Interned in QuickBooks Online on the Checkouts team. Tech Stack: BackboneJS, Handlebars, SASS, Java 8, SpringBoot Responsible for full-stack work on an agile team. Key contributions include integrating Checkouts with payment processing services, collaborating with designers to build UX flows, and building out a proof-of-concept application in ReactJS.

    alden optical

    Consultant

Worked with Alden Optical to design an online demonstration tool for contact lens visualization. The project heavily used JavaScript (jQuery.js and d3.js), HTML 5, and CSS.

    computational biomedicine laboratory at rit

    Graduate Research Assistant

Computational Imaging of Atrial Fibrillation Tech Stack: MATLAB, Paraview The goal of this work is to noninvasively locate the region of tissue on the surface of a patient's heart that is likely sustaining atrial fibrillation. These regions serve as targets in catheter ablation. Responsibilities include developing a formal pipeline that builds patient-specific geometric models, computes estimates of the epicardial potentials, and calculates phase attributes of the estimated signal. Current work involves creating an algorithm for tracking phase singularity points over time.

    rochester institute of technology

    Research Assistant

Mathematical Modeling of Contact Lenses Tech Stack: C++, Octave Developed a mathematical model describing the interaction between a soft contact lens and an elastic eye, which allowed us to simulate realistic contact-eye systems. Various numerical techniques we're employed to solve a coupled system of equations. This work involved exploring the impact different contact design parameters have on the equilibrium pressure distribution on the eye with industry professionals.
