Nikhil Wani is a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer with over 6 years of relevant experience in the field. He is currently pursuing a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, where he is also working as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Schaeffer Center for Health Policy & Economics. Nikhil has a deep understanding of Deep Learning models and has tirelessly researched models that gauge sentiments to mitigate and prepare us for the aftermath of the pandemic, having personally lost a loved family member to COVID-19. Nikhil has previously worked as a Machine Learning Research Engineer at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where he was advised by Dr. Pushpak Bhattacharyya and worked on Natural Language Processing and Deep Learning. He has also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Southern California, where he produced course content, graded assignments, and helped to make student's virtual zoom learning experience more engaging and enjoyable. Nikhil is actively looking for Summer 2021 and/or Fall 2021 Machine Learning-SWE/PM opportunities and is also passively looking for full-time opportunities as he approaches graduation in December 2021.
