Aashish Chhabra is an experienced Lead Engineer with 8 years of experience in the field. He is an expert in Hortonworks and Cloudera Hadoop Administration and has extensive experience in installing and maintaining multiple petabytes scale Hadoop clusters (HDP/CDH). He has also deployed Trino on the Openshift Container Platform by updating the base helm chart to support connectivity to kerberized clusters. In the past, Aashish has worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Airtel and NCR Corporation. At Airtel, he was responsible for maintaining and upkeep of a large 360 node cluster with 17 PB capacity. He has also planned and rolled out multiple Linux kernel level changes for the cluster and installed and configured Apache Ignite as an In Memory Database for supporting scalable transactions for millions of rows. He has also successfully migrated Namenode Roles to newer machines for better stability and performance for future expansion of the Production cluster. At NCR Corporation, he was responsible for installation, configuration, and monitoring of Hadoop clusters and integration of third-party tools with Hortonworks Data Platform. Aashish has a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Global Institute of Technology, Jaipur. He is proficient in various technologies such as Kafka, Hadoop, DevOps, Ansible, Python, Jupyter, Docker, UI, Spark, Apache Airflow, Apache Hive, HDFS, and Integration.
