Abhishek Chakraborty is an accomplished Associate Professor at XLRI - Xavier School of Management. Abhishek began his career as an Assistant Systems Engineer at TCS, where he gained valuable experience in software development and project management. He then moved on to JDA Software, where he served as a Business Consultant and Senior Consultant. During his time at JDA Software, Abhishek worked with clients across various industries, helping them optimize their supply chain and logistics operations. Abhishek holds a Ph.D. in Operations Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He also has a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Calcutta and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Honours from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekanada Centenary College, University of Calcutta. As an Associate Professor at XLRI - Xavier School of Management, Abhishek is responsible for teaching courses in Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. He is also actively involved in research, with a focus on supply chain risk management and sustainable supply chain practices. Abhishek is a highly respected academician and has published several research papers in reputed international journals.
