Abhishek Munie is a seasoned Cloud Engineer with over 6 years of experience in designing and developing features and frameworks related to cloud platforms and their integration with other platforms and services. Currently serving as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Cohesity, Abhishek has previously worked as a Member of Technical Staff at Cohesity and Zerostack, where he has been involved in developing and maintaining various frameworks and features. At Zerostack, Abhishek played a crucial role in developing a rkt containers based framework to manage the lifecycle of long-running tasks on the ZCOS platform using REST APIs from SaaS backend. He also developed a framework to import OVA files as OpenStack Heat Orchestration Templates in App Store, with support for resuming after intermittent issue or bug fixes. Additionally, Abhishek designed a unified framework to manage the life-cycle of different types of long-running operations and its integration with the rkt task framework. Abhishek has also contributed to the development of various features at Cohesity, including maintaining and improving the existing framework for migrating VMware workloads, developing a framework to manage file patches on top of standard packages, and adding support for UEFI workload migration and booting VM with UEFI. He has also added support to enforce volume type-based storage quotas and investigated and resolved issues observed in internal infrastructure and customer setups. Abhishek holds a Master's degree in Cloud Computing, CS & IT from Dayananda Sagar University and an Engineer's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from VIT. He has also completed his High School education from The Lucknow Public Collegiate.
