Abhishek Singh is a skilled SDET with over 5.7 years of experience in software quality engineering. He has expertise in functional testing, web UI, performance testing, API and database testing. Abhishek is proficient in using various testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, SwaggerUI, Jmeter, and RestAssured. He is also well-versed in testing frameworks such as TestNG, Cucumber-BDD, and Data-Driven. Abhishek has experience working with different operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and AIX. He is proficient in Java (Core) and is currently learning Advanced Java with Java8. He has experience working with SCM tools such as Bitbucket and Git, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins. Abhishek has also worked with DevOps tools like Maven and Docker. Abhishek has worked with Agile (SCRUM) and has knowledge of the basics of KANBAN. He has experience working with defect/test management tools such as JIRA and HP ALM. Abhishek has worked with various databases such as DB2, MySQL, and Postgres. Abhishek has expertise in working with different automation frameworks such as Test-driven and Behaviour-driven. Abhishek has presented a hybrid approach to the team for automating UI for different locales and created a defect checklist for all closable JIRA (bug). He has worked closely with the platform team to enhance the DIAS model (API Testing) approach for their domain (TimeKeeping). Abhishek has also set up an Elasticsearch kibana dashboard for live test automation results and hooked it to Microsoft teams for presenting results to different stakeholders. He has brainstormed the technique of emerging test cases in the form of a checklist. Currently, Abhishek is working as a Lead SDET at Freecharge.
