Aditi Rao is an aspiring UX designer and software engineer at Microsoft with a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from NITK. She is a passionate and self-motivated individual with a strong background in software development. Aditi is currently working on the backend infrastructure behind Office Add-ins and their use, as well as UX for internal dashboards used by the team for service performance monitoring. Aditi is a creative problem solver with a keen eye for detail. She has experience as a founder, graphic designer, and social media manager for Nitk Cont;nue, where she founded and managed the campus' first mental health awareness initiative. She recruited a team of volunteers and coordinated efforts to bring about successful mental health awareness campaigns on campus. She designed the brand identity and social media presence for the organization, created posters, infographics, and other content for information dissemination. She increased the club's outreach to over a thousand Instagram followers in less than one year through user research-driven content creation. Aditi also volunteered as a graphic designer and social media manager for Nitk Spectrum, where she developed the Instagram presence for the organization and designed the logo, social media content, infographics, posters, and other materials for the club. She created the club's brand identity on campus and increased visibility to over a thousand Instagram followers in a single year through user research-driven content creation. Aditi is a fast learner and is always looking for opportunities to work with and learn from talented individuals in the field of UX Design. She is currently pursuing a User Experience Design Professional Certification from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Aditi's tech stack includes software engineering, design, backend, infra, and research science. With 2.19 years of relevant experience, Aditi is looking for a chance to make a difference through contributing to impactful products and have a great time doing it.
