Science and Technology Council, IIT (BHU) Varanasi encompasses all the clubs, technical teams and centres of IIT (BHU) Varanasi which cater to the technical interests of the students. In other words, it's the "geek hub" of the institute. From robotics and aeromodelling to astronomy and programming, the council offers a learning platform for all topics that intrigue science enthusiasts. The council aims at imparting technical knowledge to the students and allowing them to showcase their creativity and innovation in both national and international events. The council hosts the annual techno-management fest of the institute, Technex, which is a platform for the students to compete at a national level and demonstrate their technical  brilliance.The council comprises of the following eight clubs:1. - Pioneered the creation of a dynamic inventory management ecosystem for complex satellite kitchen supply chain.
- Developed and hosted robust Django backend and web application, establishing seamless API connectivity. 
- Engineered a cutting-edge and secure Flutter-based mobile app curated with bilevel hierarchy, introducing QR Code functionality to revolutionise inventory workflows, elevate intuitive usability and boost operational efficiency.
- Led automation using Selenium, Pandas, and NumPy, optimising tasks, real-time alerts, and boosting revenue.

Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi is a premier research and engineering institute located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. Founded in 1919, the institute is spread over an area of 400 acres within the larger 1400 acre campus of Banaras Hindu University. IIT (BHU) Varanasi has 14 departments and 3 inter-disciplinary schools with a total student population close to 5000. It is the only IIT which is associated with a university i.e. Banaras Hindu University.
