Aditya Paranjape is a skilled engineer with a passion for developing software-enabled solutions for robotic systems. Currently working as an R&D/Product Development Engineer at TE Connectivity, Aditya has experience in the E-Mobility department, where he worked on a range of connector products, including CCS-2 charging inlets, battery module to module connectors, and battery swappable connectors. Aditya also designed plastic parts for connectors based on mechanical and electrical calculations. Prior to joining TE Connectivity, Aditya worked as a Research Intern at the Automotive Research Association of India, where he worked in the Automotive Electronics Department (AED) in the field of development and testing of EV/HEV's. During his time at the AED, Aditya worked on two projects, parameter estimation of Li-ion batteries and accurate SOC estimation based on cell testing data. He also assisted in testing and certification activities according to the Automotive Industry Standards (AIS). Aditya's experience also includes an internship at Decibels Lab, where he worked on electric vehicle powertrain simulations and cell modelling and battery management systems. Aditya developed a cell model in Matlab using data collected through cell testing for Nissan Leaf and Ather 450, which showed the behavior of the battery pack during running conditions. He also developed battery management logic from the cell data sheet to keep the functioning of the battery under optimum conditions. Aditya holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, which he is expected to complete in December 2024. Aditya's technical skills include test, ML, research scientist, and integration. With 1.10 years of relevant experience, Aditya is a talented engineer with a strong background in robotics, controls, and machine learning.
