My main responsibility was to develop a proxy platform using Electron to be used for client quotations. I also developed new web crawlers and application crawlers to perform these quotations.

I have been working for OLX Brasil (who bought Grupo ZAP, formerly Vivareal) for almost four years as tech leader squad focused on real estate products. My role is to help the squad to decide what technology or architecture to be used to build a new stack for our products, also talk to other squads who we have dependencies on or vice-versa and work on a plan to migrate the legacy ZAP site to a new stack in the best way. One of my last deliveries was the frontend base for the stack mentioned above with an isomorphic Vue.js application adapted to our render made in house. I am able to work with technologies such as; Node.js for our page render and main orchestrator API, some Java services, Python, mainly for ETL, Go for some code changes in a related squad and Ruby which is our application for business customers. As for infrastructure, I’m using Kubernetes and a lot of AWS.

At Folha de S.Paulo (http://folha.com) I worked as a backend developer and tech leader. It is one of the most visited news portals in Brazil. I have made a bunch of projects for about 5 years. My last project over there was about a web system to replace a huge legacy system in Oracle Forms responsible for all the newspaper delivery management in Brazil, this per si was a big challenge. I also have been the technical leader in this project, my main responsibilities were to help with technical decisions and to be a focal point for the technical team the whole time, the team consisted of 5 backend developers including me. This project lasted about one and a half year. At Folha, we always needed to build applications capable to handle too much data, to support the high amount of traffic and many backend processes, mainly with apps for events such as the World Cup and the Elections. In there, these points were always a challenge to be faced.
