Lead Software Engineer
• Original architect of this SaaS business-line application. • Designed the UI of QBCart. Mostly delivered via an ASP Net Core PWA in Azure App Service but moving towards a SPA. Some of the functionality is already delivered as self-contained UI components (native web components / react components / lit components) streamed to browser from static CDN endpoints and Azure storage. • Designed sync-system between QBCart and QuickBooks desktop. Said system is currently deployed to a serverless endpoint (Azure Function Consumption). • Designed sync-system between QBCart and browser clients. Said system comprises of various API serverless endpoints (Azure Function Consumption) and client-side code triggering those endpoints. • Designed data scheme to be used in Azure Cosmos DB, which ties all the above together. • Deployed all the above (code and resources needed) via GitHub Actions and ARM templates. • Setup Azure AD B2C with Azure App Services and Functions Authentication (Easy Auth) as QBCart’s authentication system.

• Fixed their defunct LAMP-based ecommerce site. Moved it to Azure App Services so it could scale better. • Developed cloud-based solutions that helped this company grow exponentially (for example, allowing the sales teams to enter orders with their mobile devices in real-time). This eventually grew into what became known as QBCart, a company/application that the owners of Vector Tools started and began offering as a SaaS solution to other companies in their industry.
