FLOW was two success businesses. As co-founders, my wife and I created a new approach to two very different service industries by focusing on design, user experience and challenging traditional boundaries. In addition, we taught over 700 wine education classes on-site during the 6 years. Sold in 2014. FLOW - From The Garden Imagine an experience where you go back in time 200 years. A restaurant where you don't order, rather you experience 5 courses plus taste 3 wines where the food comes directly from local farms. The server is a storyteller who elaborates on the farms and farmers we sourced from and the history of the wine varietal. We created this 'Farm-to-Table' restaurant in 2012 with the idea of focusing ingredients on local farms and wine education. We were profitable immediately operating on a reservation only 2-3 week waiting list. We sold the restaurant in November 2014. FLOW - For Love of Wine Imagine if buying wine was like shopping for jewelry at Tiffany's. We selected one of the largest Malls in New England and created a business that was profitable after only a few months and grossing over a million dollars each year. The beauty and elegance can not be understated. We also revolutionized our approach by organizing wines by taste (ex.in order from lightly sweet to very sweet). In addition all the wines were $10-$20 so we changed the focus from price to palate and education.
