Engineering Manager, Self-Service Growth
Engineering manager, and founding member for our Self Service CX team. We're responsible for the health and growth of our self-service business. If you're an engineer looking to join a team responsible for pushing the Segment product forward for our customers, reach out -- I'm hiring! Some things that our team has shipped in the past 5 months: - A brand new self-service workspace home + source <> integration connection experience, leading to a ~20% lift in our north-star "activation" metric - A new UX around plan-selection and upgrades. This blew away the previous experience with ~2.5x more users upgrading plans, leading to a 7-figure lift in projected self-service ARR - An overhauled in-app contact support form. We dramatically improved the UX of the old flow, and built new features (such as the ability to view historical support requests). - A clear, 6-month product direction spanning sales enablement, growth product, app infra improvements, and UX clarity.

Staff Software Engineer, Design Systems
Technical lead and sole engineer embedded within the design team. Helped establish a culture of shared design system ownership, bold product ideas, and visual consistency. Built a lot of the process, tooling, and architecture for the next major release of our design system, Evergreen. Pushed a good chunk of IC work that led to the largest visual overhaul in the history of the Segment app in ~3 months with no customer disruption. I also sourced + hired Segment's very first UX Engineer. Specific accomplishments below: - Overhauled Evergreen's styling architecture and simplified "theming" concepts - Created re-usable page-layout patterns + primitives - Re-skinned a vast majority of our app, including safely rolling out our new visual language - Re-built our navigation IA - Built a "tooltip walkthrough" framework - Led the design and re-architecture for Evergreen's docs site - Overhauled our entire frontend engineer interview loop

Senior Software Engineer, Growth
Technical lead on the growth team. Worked up and down the stack, and developed a culture of ownership, rigorous data analysis, and shared product thinking amongst the team. In 4-months time, we moved the self-service ARR # by XX%. Some things we worked on: - SKU-specific upsell UIs - Simplified end-to-end invite UX (both for inviter + invitee) - Billing / non-payment enforcement and the corresponding product flows - Re-vamped onboarding survey + user intake - Re-vamped FTUX and workspace home

impira
Software Engineer
Spearheaded + acted as primary engineering owner of Impira's internal design system. Collaborated with design and engineering stakeholders to implement proper design rules and component abstractions that scaled product engineering velocity considerably. In addition, helped bring to life role-based access control within the enterprise app -- a table-stakes feature which unblocked substantial deal conversations in the sales pipeline.

Software Engineer, Social Product
Helped lead the team with a heavy emphasis on bold product thinking, tight-knight design collaboration, and product consistency throughout our social engagement channels (messaging, board collaboration tools, and the invite funnel). Ideated and owned dozens of A/B experiments that saw consistent gains across social-related metrics. On-track to be promoted to Senior Software Engineer before I left.
