Wrote internal software using React, Redux and Rails to support the Recurse Center jobs team. Created a website styleguide in tandem with a design refresh, enabling more CSS reuse across RC's various pieces of software and speeding up the development process. Improved the front end development process by adding LiveReload, switching to Autoprefixer from Compass and adding automated JavaScript linting.

Researched effective migration strategies, wrote documentation and gave training presentations to help the dev team use Git effectively. Wrote a new JavaScript model layer for the internal front end framework that was well-received and quickly integrated into additional projects. Implemented a front end build system using Gulp and improved front end practices, including adding unit tests, using CommonJS modules and streamlining our CSS by following BEM conventions and creating a styleguide. Introduced React as part of development on a new product by integrating it with existing front end code.
