Worked on increasing the performance of optical character recognition using tesseract. Collected and Preprocessed the image data, built the tesseract model, tested its efficiency and found that the accuracy has increased from 92% to 98%.

Built an abusive speech detector to detect the abused words used during online meetings. A speech recognizer(Kaldi Api) is used to convert the speech into text, NLP is used to preprocess the text and a machine learning model is used to classify the abusive text and remove that person from the meeting.

Humans are born with emotional intelligence (EI) mainly comprising of three skills: emotional awareness, thinking & problem solving and managing emotions.The concept of emotional intelligence is sometimes referred to as emotional quotient (EQ).The world’s perspective of a machine’s intelligence is artificial intelligence (AI) and the integration of EI with AI is what has created today’s wave of Emotional Artificial Intelligence (EAI).Sukshi believes in embedding machines with EQ to develop EAI as it provides considerable value in different applications like e-commerce, customer services, health, education etc., and any step in this direction will yield by-products of signiﬁcant intellectual and economic value.Our focus lies in research to create new algorithms that go beyond deep learning to perform cognitive tasks in a way that is similar to how the biological brain thinks.

Worked on predicting the pitch from MFCC using deep neural networks. Speech signal is fed and mfcc extracts the feature vectors from the signal and pitch is extracted from the speech signal. Mfcc is taken as input and pitch is taken as output vector. They are fed to predict the human voice i.e., pitch from mfcc (which is overall speech signal).
