ETA Team Collaborated with 13 other engineers on the team to serve and maintain estimated times of arrival (ETAs) requests on a Go service that affects Lyft's main execution path. Collected requirements, wrote a detailed technical spec defining the scope, limitations, goals, and roadmap for the project. Developed a custom user agent string parser which worked 40 times faster than third-party parsers to satisfy the core mobile teamʼs need to perform near real time data aggregation.
