Integrations Team (June 2023 - Present) * Implemented logic to remove customer integrations and data when a connection with their practice management software is lost. * Led the third phase of a four-part project to expose integration details through API calls, including sync restrictions, installation details, and sync frequency, for over 60 integrations.

* Integrated with an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) company to automatically create purchase orders in our inventory system. The integration also sends acknowledgments, shipping notices, and invoices back through EDI. This saves team members 5 hours of work a week and prevents human error. * Created a pick-to-light inventory system using LED lights and a Heltec ESP32. Developed the software and assembled the hardware for this project. This program reads in packing information for orders and lights up the corresponding LEDs in front of the product to pick. This creates an easy visual cue for the warehouse team to pack boxes to ship. This saves an average of 30 seconds per item picked (averaging 125 items per day) and has reduced the number of incorrect items sent to retailers. * Integrated with Shopify and ShipStation APIs to bring in and update orders and shipping information. This was previously done manually. With the changes made, team members save at least 4 hours a week, and no orders are forgotten or updated incorrectly. * Implemented and maintained many cron jobs and automatic processes to keep the systems running efficiently. * Monitor Grafana metrics to find and reduce bottlenecks and large cpu consumption systems to ensure smooth running applications. * I was the sole developer, so all the software was developed and maintained by me.

* Created a phone data monitoring and ETL tool saving team members 20 hours per week (and reduced errors to almost zero). This Django website ingested thousands of call records and hundreds of hours of audio and transcript data every week. Using heuristics like “length of call” the system identified anomalies such as disconnects or hang-ups. The system also exported data for other systems to consume. * Set up an AWS account and a variety of services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.). It was exciting to see our EC2 bill drop after I enabled auto-scaling and scaled us down during non-business hours. * Integrated with the Google Drive API to automate data transfer of recorded phone calls for ease of access.
