Amir Lazarovich is a highly skilled Director of Engineering with over 10 years of experience in building and leading multiple teams across different company sizes. With a deep technical knowledge in distributed backend systems, SQL and No-SQL databases, designing and building APIs at scale, web, mobile and cross platform applications, he has demonstrated excellent problem-solving, teamwork and leadership skills. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Attentive AI, Amir has previously worked at Google in various roles. As a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Google, he led 3 teams with 15+ Software Engineers and Technical Program Managers, building and scaling each team from the ground up. He led the following verticals: Fiber Management, Field Tech Dispatch, and Asset Management. As a Software Engineering Manager at Google, he led a team of 10+ Software Engineers building developer infrastructure tools, including auto scaffolding tools for data-driven API services, API linter, and standardized API development across Google. He also built and maintained the complex HR API that serves all of Google. Amir holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The Interdisciplinary Center. His tech stack includes Senior Software Engineer, SQL, Mobile, Backend, Web, and Infra. Amir's leadership skills and technical expertise have been honed over 13.04 years of relevant experience.
