Amrita Deb is a data-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist with over 7 years of experience in implementing innovative cost-effective recruitment strategies using multiplatform techniques to create employment branding, target the best talent, attract passive candidates, and decrease time to fill. She has developed strong business acumen, stakeholder management, business presentations, and project management skills by working closely with senior leaders in HR and business in her career. Currently working as a Talent Acquisition Specialist Global Ops at VMware, Amrita is responsible for hiring extensively for IT roles, including Full Stacks, Salesforce Developers, Data Scientists, Java, ERP tools, Automation, SREs, Information Security, UI/UX, and Leadership Hiring (Senior Managers and Directors). She is also the BU Hiring POC for manpower planning of FTEs and co-designing relevant workforce models in line with business priorities. She has collaborated with TA POCs in hosting career fairs, online sensitization programs, virtual meetups/webinars for women coming back to work (Nakshatra), PWD & LGBTQ, resulting in a significant increase in diversity numbers. Amrita has also led recruitment metrics projects with APJ TA Leaders, including Time to fill, Diversity, Hiring experience, and Employee Referrals. Prior to joining VMware, Amrita worked at Amazon and Flipkart as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, where she managed recruitment delivery for multiple business teams, anchored the hiring for Amazon India Fulfilment Centres IT Operations Team, and program managed various events, including branding, employee referral, and diversity. Amrita holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from the International School of Business and Research, Bangalore, and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Assam University. She has expertise in Java, Research Scientist, Salesforce, and UI.
