Anar Ahadov is a highly skilled Facilities Technician with more than 10 years of experience in various industries. He is currently working at Google as a Data Center Operations Facility Technician, responsible for maintaining the availability of data center infrastructure at 99.999%. Anar's expertise lies in instrumentation, control, and electrical systems. He has extensive field experience in water supply stations, oil and gas terminals, and hyperscale data centers. As a rack deployment lead, Anar coordinates with server operation teams, logistics, and contractors to deploy and decommission racks with SLO. He is also the 2nd owner of the DC floor cooling systems, monitoring alarms and trends to maintain sufficient cooling for the data center floor. Anar works with different designs and takes samples from cooling liquids to identify bacteria growth for effective cooling. Previously, Anar worked at BP as a Maintenance Technician and Instrument Technician. He maintained and improved plant safety and operations efficiency by carrying out preventive maintenance and process control systems. He also implemented small-scale modifications and suggested changes to instrumentation and process control systems to improve plant safety and production efficiency. Anar has a Bachelor of Engineering in Automation Engineer Technology/Engineering from Azerbaijan State Oil Academy and a Master of Engineering in Energy Management and Systems Technology/Technician from the same institution. He is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Modern Software and Computing Solutions from Oulu University of Applied Sciences.
