Anurag Bajpai is a highly experienced data scientist with over 8 years of experience in delivering high business impact, data-driven solutions. Currently, he is pursuing an MScAC degree in Data Science from the University of Toronto while working as a Lead Data Scientist at Shadowfax Technologies. Anurag has previously worked with Samsung and IIT Delhi, where he gained expertise in various domains. At Shadowfax Technologies, Anurag has worked on several projects that have helped the company optimize its operations and improve its services. He has designed and developed serviceability and order allocation models using demand forecasting and supply calculations that have led to higher efficiencies. Anurag has also developed an MLOps platform for all ML needs, including experimentation, tracking, orchestration, and model deployment. He has supervised the development of several ML models, including mask/sanitizer detection in selfies, anomaly detection in time-series data, order cancellation prediction, and intent recognition from call transcripts. Anurag's past experience includes working as a Data Scientist at Shadowfax Technologies, where he developed a geocoding model based on named entity extraction and matching to historical data. He has developed an NER model to extract named entities from unstructured addresses and a risk profiling model to identify high-risk riders using survival analysis. Anurag has also designed and developed a discrete event-based simulation environment to model the entire hyperlocal ecosystem, including serviceability requests, orders, and rider behavior. At Samsung, he worked on face recognition techniques and implemented an RNN-based character-level language model for the Samsung Keyboard Project. Anurag holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Computing degree in Data Science from the University of Toronto. He has expertise in various technologies, including Data Science, ML, language models, Software Engineering, RNN, Search, and Mobile.
