Apoorva Sharma is an Associate at BlackRock, specializing in Climate Risk Modeling and Sustainable Investing. With a degree in Dual Degree (B.Tech+M.Tech) in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, Apoorva has gained over four years of experience in building big data solutions for Structured Products. At BlackRock, Apoorva has worked on the in-house data platform for Structured Products, developing scalable and resilient data solutions for advanced data analytics. She has also contributed to MBS risk model development and Strats. Apoorva is currently a part of the Aladdin Sustainability Lab, where she is involved in climate risk modeling and sustainable investing. Apoorva's technical expertise lies in Big Data technologies, which she has leveraged to build solutions for structured products. She has a strong understanding of data analytics and has worked on developing risk models for MBS. Apoorva completed her high school education from D.A.V. Centenary Public School, Jaipur, before pursuing her Dual Degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. She graduated in 2018 and has since been working at BlackRock.
