Aradhya Kasat is a passionate Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS) with over three years of relevant experience. At Visa, Aradhya expedited the existing manual review process of risky transactions through analytics intervention. She built an ensemble model to classify transactions as Fraud/Non-Fraud and assign confidence scores and developed a Chat Bot with speech and text recognition capabilities to assist manual reviewers. Aradhya is currently a Summer Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where she was selected for a Government of India project to identify factors influencing school performance. Her responsibilities include data cleaning, integration, selection, and exploratory analysis of the school data. Aradhya performed mining on data of 1 million schools to determine teacher to student ratio, separate washroom for girls, and type of school management as strong factors affecting school performance. She used R- ggplot2 and Oracle DB as her technology stack. Aradhya is a quick learner and has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. She is proficient in Java, Javascript, and R. She has a strong foundation in statistics and machine learning and is passionate about programming. Aradhya is a team player and has excellent communication skills. She has a proven track record of improving turnaround time and accuracy with the implementation of classification models and Chat Bots. She was awarded a Pre-Placement Offer based on project performance and final presentation to leadership at Visa.
