Arupendu Bayen is a Senior Engineer at Samsung Electronics, working on various DTV and BluRay SOC GPUs. He is a Deep Learning enthusiast and enjoys exploring the latest developments in this field during his free time. Arupendu completed his Graduation and Post Graduation from IIT Kharagpur, with a major in electronics and a minor in Embedded Systems. He has also worked as an intern at RICOH, Tokyo, and CUHK, Hong Kong, where he developed an OpenGL-based Desktop application and worked on Audio Processing, respectively. With experience in RTL design on FPGA for DSP algorithms as a part of his Post Graduation Thesis, Arupendu is currently working on OpenGL-based 3D Graphics and SOC development for DTV Domains at Samsung. He has also worked as a Lead Engineer at Samsung and Co-founder at Tradelab Software in the past. Apart from his technical expertise, Arupendu is also a talented photographer and enjoys capturing beautiful moments. His photographs can be viewed on his Flickr profile.
