Balakrishnan Mariyappan is a seasoned Tech Lead with over 10 years of relevant experience in the software development industry. He has played various roles throughout his career and has a strong foundation in C programming, which has been instrumental in shaping his career. He has a passion for exploring different areas of IT and has worked extensively in Full Stack application development, Linux/UNIX/Shell Scripting, and Computer Telephony Integration Applications. Balakrishnan is an expert in Python, Perl, and C programming languages and has experience with frameworks such as Flask, Django, and FastAPI. He also has extensive database work experience with Mysql, PostgresQL, SAPHANA, SYBASE, and SQL SERVER. He is well-versed with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins pipelines and automation with Ansible. Balakrishnan has migrated applications to microservice architecture using Docker and Kubernetes and has managed team members for development activities. He has experience in performance fine-tuning using multi-threading/asyncio in Python. Currently, Balakrishnan is working as an IT Senior Technology Consultant at SAP, where he has been able to leverage his skills in Python, DevOps, and Design to deliver high-quality solutions to clients. He has previously worked as an IT Technical Consultant at SAP and as a Professional Application Designer at Computer Science Corporation, where he was a Senior Perl Developer. Balakrishnan holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Programming, Specific Applications from Indira Gandhi National Open University. His tech stack includes Python, Django, SQL, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD, MySQL, Docker, Integration, Microservices, Flask, JavaScript, Terraform, PHP, NoSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra. He is a design freak and is passionate about creating solutions that are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing.
