Bharath Kandimalla is an experienced software developer with a strong background in Python, Java, TensorFlow, C, and C++. He is currently working as a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he has been involved in developing information retrieval techniques, crawling, and indexing of retrieved data for CiteSeerX, a scientific digital library and search engine. Bharath has also developed an Extraction and Ingestion System (EIS) for ingesting 1.6 million research papers into web servers. Before joining AWS, Bharath worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Penn State University, where he worked on information retrieval techniques, crawling, and indexing of retrieved data for CiteSeerX. He also developed the EIS for ingesting 1.6 million research papers into web servers. Bharath has also worked as a Software Development Engineer-II at Ola, where he performed in a developer role on a GPS-based real-time Android application for drivers to receive bookings from the consumer app with a million user base. He has hands-on experience in Java, Android programming, thread management, and memory management for Android apps, integrating REST APIs and JSON parsing. Bharath holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. He has a strong technical background and expertise in software engineering, AWS, information retrieval, research science, search, web, TensorFlow, Java, Python, and Android. With almost 4 years of relevant experience, Bharath is a highly skilled software developer who has demonstrated his ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
