Prior to Microsoft, Bharath worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Cisco, where he was one of the lead developers for the Feature Manager team on Cisco's flagship multi-layer switch platform, the Catalyst 6500. His team was responsible for implementing wire speed traffic classification and policy implementation for network access control, routing, and QoS on the Catalyst 6500 switches. Bharath designed, developed, and delivered multiple access layer security and edge routing capabilities used by the largest enterprises to secure and manage their networks, including DHCP and ARP spoofing prevention, reflexive access control lists, and IPv4 and IPv6 policy-based routing. Bharath holds a Post Graduate Programme in Management from the Indian School of Business and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur. His technical skills include product management, Azure, web, and software engineering.
