Bhuwan Bhasker is a highly skilled Product Manager with over 10 years of experience in the IT industry. Currently working at HCL, he is responsible for leading various units of the tech team to create entire web, Android, iOS apps, and enabling cloud-based platforms for a leading sports and media company from scratch. Bhuwan's role involves evolving requirements by understanding the pre-existing platform, brainstorming and discovery sessions with authors, marketers, sales, end-users, and other stakeholders of the new platform. He also works with architects to create cloud-based scalable designs to support a million and more user's base spread across the globe. Bhuwan is an expert in evolving information architecture along with UX and visual design teams to surface the information within the website, app, and external touchpoints and engage users in a frictionless manner. He creates strong onsite and offsite tracking and reported mechanisms by integrating various analytics, campaign, AB testing, advertising, and marketing tools. Bhuwan is also adept at integrating Digital Asset Management and other OTT services, making the platform accessible to all users by complying with WCAG 2.1 guidelines, and guiding machine learning-powered recommendation engines and internal search. In his previous roles at HCL, Bhuwan worked with the Product team at a leading sports club in the UK to transform and optimize content delivery to their fans. He also delivered web platforms for users of Digi (subsidiary of Telenor in Malaysia) Telecom, where users could seamlessly browse through their subscriptions, pay their bills, and evaluate their spending. Additionally, he delivered an ecommerce platform for postpaid phone sell and helped Digi with Google Analytics implementation and evaluation of tag managers/audience managers like Tealium. Bhuwan also helped set up a Facebook store, social analytic integration, and micro-tagging for ecommerce. Bhuwan holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and completed his high school education from Gyan Bharti School. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in product management, web development, testing, Android, iOS, search, senior software engineering, and integration. With his relevant experience and expertise, Bhuwan is a valuable asset to any organization he works with.
