Brendan Patterson is a highly experienced Principle Product Designer with over 11 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is currently working with Simpplr as their Principle Product Designer, responsible for the visual design and user experience of their product offerings. Brendan's role involves streamlining efficient design and project management processes, specifying KPIs, introducing new features, and producing regular releases of industry-leading web and native iOS/Android apps. In addition to his current role, Brendan has also worked as a Freelance UI/UX Designer & Front-end Developer for various clients and agencies. He has undertaken a wide range of projects and led a large, UX-focused design project for Look After My Bills, which was later acquired by GoCompare. Brendan has also worked with D3R as a UI/UX Designer, where he was involved in all areas of the product life cycle, from project scoping and discovery sessions to final, high-quality designs and front-end development. He led design & UX for key projects like Loaf, Dualit & Love Home Swap, and internal UX focused projects like content management systems, hospitality platforms, and server migration tools. Brendan's education background includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Three Dimensional Design from Northbrook College. He has conducted user research, interviewed key stakeholders in San Francisco, and helped recruit, interview, and manage a small design team in the UK while the company experienced significant growth. Simpplr also received a SASS award for best UX in class and welcomed many enterprise-level customers.
