Bruce Whealton is a passionate writer and Master's Level Clinical Social Worker (MSW) who believes in the value of relationships. Having dedicated his life to helping others deal with emotional and psychological issues, he has pursued education, training, and expertise in Clinical Social Work/psychiatric social work. Bruce is the author of "Memoirs of a Healer/Clinical Social Worker - Autobiography of Bruce Whealton," which describes his success story and accomplishments. He seeks to get back to the life he once knew that was so rewarding and allowed him to help others in need. Bruce is also a Lead Developer/Software Engineer at Tunabear Consulting, where he developed a Client-Server Mobile and Desktop application. The application uses Node.js for a server, AngularJS, AngularUI, and the Ionic Framework for developing hybrid mobile applications. It uses Firebase, a Real-time Backend-As-A-Service key-value database, for data persistence. Prior to Tunabear Consulting, Bruce worked with Future Wave Web Development as a Freelance Software Developer and Web Developer/Designer/Software Engineer. He provided web development and design services as a freelancer to individuals, groups, businesses, and organizations. He utilized various programming languages, software libraries/frameworks, and database engines to develop responsive web applications for mobile devices and desktops. Bruce holds a Master of Social Work - MSW degree from the University of South Carolina, a BSEE degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Diploma from Southington High School. With 34.12 years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer, Web Developer, Android and iOS Mobile Developer, Backend Developer, and Javascript Developer, Bruce is open to any and all connections. He seeks to build lasting relationships and passionately support others in helping them reach their goals in life, whatever they may be.
