Chandana N is an enthusiastic data analyst and data engineer with a passion for big data and data analysis. With over 2.5 years of relevant experience, Chandana has collaborated on projects involving technologies that support data filtering and organizing. She has a deep knowledge of data analysis, correlations, reporting, and testing, and has applied her skills through academic projects such as Collecting Social Data (Big Data), Database, Design and Development of Web Applications (Back-end Database), Data Warehousing (Analysis & Testing), and Full Database Creation (Database), by utilizing SQL, MySQL, Excel (including V Look Up), Python, R, and more. Chandana has proven her strong communication skills as a project lead and team member by facilitating presentations and collaborating with individuals both externally and internally. As Head of Sponsorship, she led up to 15 volunteers and applied her problem-solving skills, along with showing that she quickly adapts to new challenges. Within the field of data technology, Chandana believes that innovation and efficiency are a must. Currently working as a Big Data Developer at Visa, Chandana administers and tunes multiple Hadoop/Spark based big data platforms for operational efficiency on a continuous basis. She also implements security compliance to safeguard customer data used in data marketing platforms across the world. Chandana generates performance reports and monitors the health of the Hadoop platform to effectively meet performance and SLA requirements. She collaborates with the development and operations team to gather technical requirements, develop code, and test the changes in production. Chandana's past experience includes working as a Data Migration Analyst at CME, where she migrated data from Legacy to Infinity Platform, consolidating functional requirements and managing source to target data mapping, leading migration audit, and analyzing reconciliation report in PowerBI to identify areas for improvement. She also worked as a Data Science Intern at Agrofides, Inc, where she developed a credit scoring model using Python to reasonably assess farmer credit risk at scale that allowed the scope of lending to farmers. Chandana built several machine learning models using Python on Agronomic data to measure creditworthiness of a farmer. She collaborated with the CEO and company Co-Founder to assess, plan, and iterate on the models to improve their accuracy. Chandana holds a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Pace University and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Amrita University. Her tech stack includes Big Data, Data Engineering, test, SQL, Python, H
