Chandrima Bhattacharjee is a final year undergraduate student in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Guwahati. She is a Software Engineer at Samsung India, R&D Delhi, responsible for maintaining the product lifecycle of 7 High Priority Apps ranging from defect resolutions to the final launch on Samsung TV Platform. She is also responsible for resolving platform-specific and memory issues of 7 Apps running on Samsung Tizen platform and fixing compatibility issues faced by apps worldwide arising due to new releases on Samsung Tizen platform. Chandrima has a keen interest in Modeling and Simulation and in the field of VLSI Design. She is well acquainted with the designing and simulation tools like Cadence Virtuoso and OrCAD 17.2. Chandrima has worked as a summer research intern at IIT Kharagpur, where she was part of a 6 week-long Research Internship at The GS Sanyal School Of Telecommunications. Her area of research focused on the development of efficient hardware to realize LDPC error control codes for 5G spectrum. Platforms used were Matlab and Simulink which was later tested using FPGA's. Prior to Samsung, she was a Software Engineer at L&T, where she worked on a client project which involved Visual Lansa framework and IBM As400 database. She was responsible for resolving existing bugs and implementing new functionalities and was responsible for the root cause analysis of issues arising at client-side through querying of the database in the production environment. She also developed a user-friendly and responsive Online Shopping Web Application using Hibernate/JPA, Springboot. Apart from her technical skills, Chandrima has a keen interest in writing and understanding sociology. She spends her free time reading books and novels. She is actively looking for job opportunities in firms with a professional work-driven environment that can enable her to grow while fulfilling organizational goals.
