Chin Cheang is a Talent Acquisition Manager and Tech Recruiting Leader at Rivian, a company that designs and manufactures electric adventure vehicles. With over 10 years of experience in talent acquisition and management, Chin is a leader who values integrity, transparency, and authenticity in her leadership style. Chin specializes in talent acquisition and change management, personnel management and mentorship, recruiting strategies, diversity and inclusion recruiting, full lifecycle recruitment, and ATS/VMS platform management. Chin has experience in recruiting disciplines such as engineering, IT, hardware, software, automotive, consumer electronics, aerospace, defense, aviation, banking, creative, marketing, communications, blockchain technology, and cryptocurrency/ICO. Currently, Chin is partnering with the Head of Software and leading a team supporting various departments within Rivian, including Vehicle OS, Software Integration, Data Platform, Vehicle Controls, Energy Management, Infotainment, Systems Engineering & Architecture, Vehicle Applications, Software Infrastructure, Advanced Manufacturing, Battery Management System, Vehicle UI/UX, and New Product Integration. Chin believes that there is a more responsible way to explore the world, and Rivian is determined to make the transition to sustainable transportation an exciting one. Prior to joining Rivian, Chin worked at Bird as the Global Recruiting Lead for Vehicle Engineering, where she partnered with the Chief Vehicle Officer to manage the global recruiting efforts for the Vehicle pillar spanning US, APAC, and EMEA. She also worked at Twitter as a Senior Technical Recruiter for Engineering, Product, Design, and Research, where she provided client lead and full life cycle recruiting services. Chin holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management and Services from Colorado State University, a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from ArtCenter College of Design, and an Associate of Arts in Graphic Design from FIDM. Her tech stack includes integration, blockchain, infra, ui, search, research scientist, and product manager.
