Chinmaya Pancholi is a Low Latency Software Developer at Tower Research Capital with over 5 years of relevant experience. He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 2018, where he pursued B.Tech and M.Tech (dual-degree) in Computer Science and Engineering. Chinmaya has a strong background in software engineering and research science. He has worked with organizations such as NumFOCUS and Simon Fraser University, where he gained experience in supervised learning, Keras, Scikit, Python, and integration. At NumFOCUS, Chinmaya worked as a Software Developer - Google Summer of Code, where he integrated the topic-modelling library Gensim with scikit-learn and Keras by creating wrappers around all Gensim models. He also added a Python implementation of Facebook Research's fastText model to Gensim. As part of his GSoC project, he updated the code used by Gensim models. At Simon Fraser University, Chinmaya worked as a Research Assistant on the project 'Wikipedia Text Processor' by mining English Wikipedia in its entirety to extract and model historical text. He developed a system that learned to represent historical data and classify new unseen text as 'historical' or 'not historical'. The system could also be generalized to model categories of text based on any idea of 'interestingness' input by the user.
