Chirag Arora is an accomplished Software Development Engineer with a passion for learning new things and getting things done. With 3.60 years of relevant experience, he has diverse technical competencies and is a technology leader and individual contributor. Currently, he works at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer, where he has been contributing to the development of cutting-edge software solutions. Chirag has a strong educational background, having completed a Bachelor of Technology in Engineering Physics from dtu in 2019. He also holds a High School degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Manav Sthali School, which he completed in 2002. Before joining Amazon, Chirag worked as a Google Code-in - Mentor at aossie, where he mentored students on various open-source projects. He also interned at CERN, the world's largest physics laboratory, where he worked with the IT-CM-RPS team under the supervision of Belmiro Moreira on CERN's cloud. During his internship, he worked on a new OpenStack project called Qinling, which is a Function as a Service alternative for OpenStack (like AWS Lambda). He tested and deployed OpenStack Qinling on CERN’s cloud infrastructure, found possible use cases and services Qinling can be integrated into, and collaborated on IRC and contributed to upstream OpenStack Qinling repository. Chirag has a strong technical skillset, and his TechStack includes Software Engineer, AWS, and infra. He is a quick learner and always looks for opportunities to enhance his skills. In his current role at Amazon, he has been instrumental in developing software solutions that have helped the company stay ahead of the competition.
