Chitranjan Kaul is a seasoned product management professional with over a decade of experience in the fintech space. He is currently working as a Lead Product Manager at Q2, a financial experience company that provides digital banking and lending solutions to banks, credit unions, alternative finance, and fintech companies in the US and internationally. At Q2, Chitranjan is responsible for managing the Salesforce-based lending servicing product and building a globally compatible cloud-based lending servicing solution for consumer, SME, and commercial lending businesses. He aims to simplify all possible bespoke lending business use cases in the market. Prior to Q2, Chitranjan was a Product Manager at OakNorth, a UK bank that primarily provides business and property loans to small and medium-sized companies. He worked as a product owner of the CORE-Banking platform, a unique product globally that helped manage lending operationally and financially, serving the SME segment primarily. He was responsible for owning the product end-to-end, defining the product vision and strategy jointly with key stakeholders, understanding the needs and problems of operations finance and other primary stakeholders, managing a team of designers and developers to create optimized user experiences, and planning the product delivery roadmap and timelines. Before OakNorth, Chitranjan worked as a Product Owner at Standard Chartered Bank, where he helped build a real-time lending on-boarding platform for South East Asian markets, reducing the TAT for issuing a credit card/disbursing a loan/opening a deposit account for a customer from multiple days to 10-15 minutes. He was responsible for driving the entire elicitation for the product with stakeholders, prioritizing the requirements to draw out the plan for Minimum Viable Product, producing user stories to be taken up by the development teams as testable deliverables within a sprint, managing the complete Product Backlog, and driving the solution, development, testing, and user acceptance by the end-user of the product. Chitranjan is a graduate of Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology (Degree Wing), Panjab University, where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Panjab University.
