Claire Fang is a highly accomplished Chief Product Officer with a proven track record of driving product innovation and business growth across large and small organizations. With over 17 years of relevant experience, Claire has honed her skills in product management, marketing, business strategy, pricing, promotion, partner/alliance management, and team building. Claire has deep industry expertise in cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), mobile apps, enterprise software, consumer hardware, and UAV/drones. She has consistently helped organizations set strategic direction and priorities, bring structure and rhythm to chaos, relentlessly drive execution on key priorities, and form a culture of commitment, collaboration, and accountability. Her ability to spot new product or business opportunities, informed by customer and market insights, has been a key driver of her success. Currently, Claire serves as the Chief Product Officer for Qualtrics EmployeeXM, where she leads the product management, product marketing, and product science functions. She is responsible for serving more than 3,000 enterprise and mid-market clients to help them improve everyday employee experience. Prior to joining Qualtrics, Claire held the position of Sr. Director, Head of Product, EX (Employee Experience) at Qualtrics. She also worked at Facebook, where she led a product team to build the unified business platform as the foundation for all business tools at Facebook (Page, Ads, Instagram, WhatsApp, Developer tools, Marketplace). Claire holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, a Marketing & Strategy Certification in Marketing, Strategy, and Brand Building from Northwestern University, and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Southeast University. She also completed The Berkeley Executive Leadership Program at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
