Claire Priddy-Weisman is a Senior Tech Recruiter at Two Chairs with over 10 years of relevant experience. She is an Anthropology major who stumbled upon her love for cool tech stuff while living in NYC. Originally from a small farm in Kentucky, Claire is now a permanent desert dweller who enjoys weight lifting, dessert baking, and helping people find career happiness. Prior to joining Two Chairs, Claire worked as a Lead Technical Recruiter at thredUP where she was a strategic hiring partner to all Engineering, Product, Data Science, Machine Learning, and IT leaders. She crafted and sent weekly tech recruiting reports to the company's CTO, CPO, and tech leadership, and acted as a Business Analyst for the implementation of Workday Recruiting ATS. Claire also coached recruiting team members and hiring leaders on how to communicate stock options and post-IPO RSUs, monitored the candidate market to ensure competitive stock packages during the 2020-2022 hiring boom, and refined the job opening process to include detailed intake conversations, interviewer coverage plans, and focus on sourcing diverse technical talent. Additionally, she shortened and optimized the interview process to improve candidate experience and increase efficiency, led the Recruiting portion of ManageUP series, a training for all thredUP leaders, and leveraged compensation data tools to shape hiring budgets and headcount planning. Claire's education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Art History from Western Kentucky University.
