Deeheem Ansari is a highly skilled Senior Member Technical at D. E. Shaw India Private Limited with over 4 years of relevant experience in the field of computer engineering. He is currently working at arcesium as a Senior Member Technical, where he is responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions to complex technical problems. Deeheem's expertise lies in the areas of search, deep learning, Ruby, neural networks, mobile, research scientist, Tensorflow, and UI. He has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from NSIT, which he completed in 2018. Prior to his current role, Deeheem worked as an Open Source Developer at the Opengenus Foundation. During his tenure, he contributed to the open-source software Quark, a sister project of Cosmos Search, as part of Rails Girls Summer of Code (RGSoC) 2018. Quark is the world's first offline search engine for codes of various algorithms in multiple languages. Deeheem also worked as a Software Intern at Samsung, where he gained experience in hand landmark detection for AR HMD. He directed the AR device to render at a specific region where a person's finger points to and select an object using finger tips/use palm as a menu with fingers as items. He also understood the YOLO model and got familiar with the Tensorflow deep learning framework. Deeheem was responsible for preparing training/testing data, training and fine-tuning the neural network for palm detection, and generating further training/testing data by creating his own algorithms for generation. He also further tuned the network architecture to achieve faster speed and higher accuracy than the baseline model. Deeheem secured a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) at the end of his internship.
