He has worked with core IT companies such as Tech Mahindra, IBM Labs, Oracle, CGI, and a successful start-up, where he has held product and technology (engineering) leadership roles. He has also experimented with entrepreneurship and has worked in India, Singapore, and the USA. Deepak's expertise lies in customer-facing technology, product development, techno-functional, including solutioning, engineering, cloud platform expertise, customer product support, customer journey, and its delight. He has a passion for product strategy and management, application software and solutions architecture, cloud strategy and IT infrastructure, digital distributed application architecture, API frameworks, and microservices, mobile app architectures, DevOps, and tech and business operational portfolio management experience at large. Deepak has domain knowledge in core banking, payments, digital wallet, e-commerce, and IT consulting. He has led consulting services practice and experienced working with ISV, GSI applications, and products. Currently, Deepak works as the Vice President - Products & Technology (Engineering) at Housejoy, where he leads corporate technology, product roadmaps & strategy, systems architecture, IT operations, formulating strategic planning, review & monitoring functions and improvement initiatives. He drives Housejoy product development and its management, innovation, digital transformation, CRM & document management systems implementation, customer support, and growth through ‘tech-intensity for Housejoy. He has led a group of extremely talented associates who are innovating to deliver a simple and seamless experience for Housejoy customers. Deepak has also worked with Lov.Cash as the India Head (Product and Technology Execution) and Travel Buddhi as the Head - Technology Development. He has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering Technology from NIT Jamshedpur and an e-GBM degree in Business Administration and Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
