Devvrat Arya is a seasoned technologist and CXO with over 15 years of experience in building and managing cross-functional teams across various innovative products in the recruitment, education, and video streaming space. As the Vice President of Technology at Pepperfry, he is responsible for building Augmented Personalized Experience using AI + AR. Prior to joining Pepperfry, Devvrat co-founded Talocity: Touchless Hiring, where he served as the Co-founder and Chief Scientist. He was responsible for creating deep learning models that can detect eyeball movements and associate those with candidates’ cognitive personality aspects to translate the role fit of the candidates against any job role. Devvrat also built the live video streaming product that provides an interface for recruiters to schedule video interviews with candidates and records the hard skill and cognitive personalities of the candidate in real-time. He was also responsible for building the world's first audio-based English assessment product validated by CEFR and ILETS, which considers all aspects of the English language suited to the BPO industry. Devvrat handled a 22+ member technology and R&D team from ideation to launch, and assisted the CEO on raising investments of INR 14+ crores and achieving MRR of INR 85+ lacs with a portfolio of clients spread across India, Philippines, and the USA. Devvrat also co-founded Flatpi Technologies, which merged with Talocity. As the Co-Founder and CEO, he created an AI-driven SaaS platform for recruiters to manage their end-to-end recruitment process. The product's key features include Application Tracking System, Resume Parser, Live Video Interviews, and machine learning-based stack ranked matching between job roles and candidates. Devvrat was responsible for raising investments in the company and onboarding clients from India, Singapore, UK, and Canada. He also managed the sales team and sales partners and shared responsibility with the technology head to ideate, design, data modeling, code implementation, and AI data modeling. Devvrat holds a B.Tech in Aerospace from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He is a deep learning and AI expert and has experience as a research scientist and UI designer.
