Dhaval Shah is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 15 years of relevant experience in designing, developing, and maintaining software components for products and product lines. He is currently working as a Senior Member Of Technical Staff at VMware, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining the Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) Day0, Day1, Day2 flows. He has introduced Odata query interfaces via integrations with Apache Olingo, enabling filtered, paged, and aggregated SDDC activity information. Dhaval also overlooks CI/CD pipelines and weekly deployment of critical microservices, driving engineering features through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support. He fixed issues in CASB O365 and Azure application in areas such as Ingestion, SmartConfigs, DLP, Policies, and Alerts. Dhaval also helped in defining several new smart controls for O365 applications that detect weak settings in O365, such as strong password not enabled, mails sent to external domains. He developed a multi-tenant, scalable native hook to support PowerShell execution in O365 CASB application, using JNI in combination with C++/CLI to give a robust, long-running programming interface to call PowerShell.
