Dhruv Thakkar is a seasoned Cloud & DevOps Engineer with over 8 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as a Member of Technical Staff at Amadeus, where he is responsible for managing the cloud infrastructure and automating the PaaS-based applications. Dhruv has a strong background in Cloud technology, including Virtual Infrastructure, Private and Public Cloud. He is also an expert in DevOps, with experience in Build/Release and Automation of PaaS-based applications. He is currently exploring new technologies like k8s, Python, PaaS, Multi-Cloud, and IaC. Before joining Amadeus, Dhruv worked as a DevOps Engineer at SAP, where he gained valuable experience in automating the infrastructure and managing the cloud environment. He also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Amadeus, where he was responsible for implementing and owning the Red Hat OpenStack IaaS solution for Business functions. He also worked on automating the OpenStack tenant and IaaS infrastructure, onboarding projects to Google Cloud Platform, and monitoring the IaaS infrastructure with Prometheus and Grafana. Dhruv holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science with Specialization in Cloud Computing from VIT and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Universal College of Engineering & Technology, Gujarat Technological University. He completed his high school education from V.D. High School, Bhuj. Dhruv is highly skilled in various technologies, including Software Engineering, DevOps, Infra, Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, Python, GCP, and Web. He is a quick learner and always eager to learn new technologies to enhance his skills.
