Divij Goyal is an entrepreneur and engineer with over 6 years of professional experience in the e-commerce, real estate, and advertising industries. He is a graduate of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and has built two successful products from the ground up, launching them in new markets and scaling them to over a million users. In the process, he raised more than $100k from angel investors. Divij started his career as a software developer at Sapient, where he learned all aspects of the product lifecycle from problem identification to growth hacking and marketing analytics. He has a deep understanding of consumer internet in the fashion and e-commerce space, affiliate industry, resellers and distribution network, personal shopping/styling industry, offline and online marketing channels, and all kinds of analytics for mobile and web. Divij's previous startup, Shoppist, a B2C personalized product discovery platform, got acquired by Roopik, where he joined as head of product post-acquisition, leading a team of 15. He also built Adonstream, a B2B marketing consulting company, which he bootstrapped to a 14-person team in just two years. Adonstream served over 50 clients, including Congress, Snapfitness, Indiabulls, Lingel (Germany), Lidango (Bulgaria), and Cluboneair (Biggest Private jet company). It merged with Muses Marketing in 2015. Divij has 6+ years of experience in executing the consumer product cycle from research to launch. He has hands-on experience with product wire-framing, designing, prototyping, and analytics tools. He has a deep understanding of consumer research, UX/UI interfaces, and all kinds of analytics for mobile and web. Currently, Divij is working at trade x as a "Predicting Future" specialist. He has also co-founded CityMall, a funded social commerce platform designed for the next 200 million Indian Internet users. At Ziploan, a Series-A funded fintech startup, he is leading a new initiative called "Connect" to build India's biggest community of small and medium business owners. Connect is a hyperlocal group messaging app for business owners to find and join nearby relevant business communities.
