Douglas Fischer is a seasoned Mobile Software Engineer with over 15 years of experience in the field. He started his career on the PalmOS platform and has since worked extensively with iOS, having been involved in Mobile projects for major Fortune 500 companies. Currently, Douglas is the Tech Lead and a founding member of Abacomm Brasil, where he serves as Head of Digital Products. In this role, he provides consultation and project management for medium to large-scale Mobile projects, advises on technical implementation, analyzes metrics to evaluate app success, and promotes the Abacomm brand through evangelism at technical and commercial events. Douglas is passionate about supporting innovative leaders in building Mobile solutions for their businesses and events, regardless of the complexity involved. He welcomes inquiries and is always willing to lend his expertise. In addition to his Mobile expertise, Douglas also has a technical background in security software. He is the founder of the first Brazilian Antivirus project and the first in the world to use heuristics as the primary resource for threat detection. However, his focus today is on Mobile. Douglas has worked for Abacomm Brasil as a Mobile Software Engineer in the past, as well as serving as CTO at Adsvanced Advertising. He holds degrees from FAE and FURB and has experience in Senior Software Engineering, Mobile, Software Engineering, and iOS. Overall, Douglas has 13.78 years of relevant experience.
