Dr. Prasenjit Ghosh is a highly driven applied scientist with over a decade of experience in academia and industry. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from IISc Bengaluru, where his research focused on developing particulate models of different flexible structures that exhibit nonlinear behavior and dynamic particle interaction. His academic training spans an interdisciplinary cohort of subjects such as computational modeling, structural mechanics, particle methods, and biomechanics. In addition to his technical expertise, Dr. Ghosh has essential skills in adopting a multi-disciplinary outlook, communicating effectively with stakeholders, designing impactful content, and managing events with multiple teams. He has gained immersive exposure to India's premier science and business schools, including IIM Ahmedabad and BITS Pilani. Dr. Ghosh has pursued teaching and student mentoring for law- and business-school aspirants during his PhD, which helped him gain confidence with multi-tasking and interpersonal skills. He actively engages in content-writing and content-presentation activities, which improved his PhD thesis on several fronts. He has participated in several competitions and won the national-level Saransh, a three-minute-thesis competition by INYAS in 2021, in Engineering Sciences. Dr. Ghosh is currently a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft, where he leverages his skills and experience to contribute to the company's product development. He has also worked as a Faculty at IMS Learning and Career Launcher, where he instructed and mentored business- and law-school aspirants for entrance exams, customized preparation strategies based on one-on-one interactions, designed and conducted workshops and doubt-clearing sessions in addition to regular classes. Dr. Ghosh has unbridled enthusiasm for the world of professional cricket and the art of cooking. Of late, he has dabbled in areas of amateur traveling and trekking. He believes his multi-faceted experience in academia and industry has been nothing short of rewarding, and he looks forward to joining an organization where he can contribute with his skill-set, exposure, and experience and build a fulfilling career.
