Dr. Srinivas Padmanabhuni is an eminent engineer and AI thought leader with over 28 years of experience in the computing field. He has a rare combination of academic, research, and industry orientation, with a specialization in software engineering, AI, and machine learning. He has won several awards, including the excellence award for innovation at Infosys and the research excellence award at the University of Alberta. Dr. Padmanabhuni is a Ph.D. in AI from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada, and has secured his B.Tech from IIT Kanpur and M.Tech in CS from IIT Bombay. He has authored a published book by Wiley and over 100 refereed international publications. He has lectured more than 15,000 students on AI and related topics and has given 400+ invited talks across eight countries. Dr. Padmanabhuni co-founded CityMandi.com, a next-generation AI-enabled smart B2B startup in Agri Tech focused on farm to fork. He is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of CityMandi, which is India's first comprehensive AI-enabled B2B wholesale online grocery business catering to restaurants, online kitchens, and large corporate consumers. He has also been the past president of ACM India, the top professional organization of computing professionals. Dr. Padmanabhuni is the Chief Mentor for Tarah technologies, an AI consulting and training company. He has also worked as a Principal Research Scientist and Associate Vice President at Infosys, where he overlooked the university innovation ecosystem, alongside the research and innovation group in Infosys Labs. Dr. Padmanabhuni's tech stack includes AI, research scientist, and ML. His interests lie in AI, machine learning, software engineering, and cybersecurity. He has seven granted patents and multiple additional patents in process. Dr. Padmanabhuni has also worked as an AI advisor for Marax AI and has an education history from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Durgapur.
