Dustin Fedie is an Associate Software Engineer at Travelers with a passion for software systems and their interconnectivity. He has a Full Stack Software Engineering Certification from Prime Digital Academy and a Bachelor's degree in Music Theory from Concordia College. With over 13 years of relevant experience, Dustin has a strong background in software development, mobile-first web-based applications, and SQL ETL development. During his time at Prime Digital Academy, Dustin worked on several projects, including ReadMe, a mobile-first web-based app for tracking reading progress and book recommendations. He also worked on a group project, 2D Con: Con Ops, where he helped create a better attendee check-in experience and assisted in creating new events and assigning locations. Previously, Dustin worked at Lifesource as a Support Administrator, managing multiple critical hardware and software systems and facilitating new hire orientation for the IS team. He also supported SQL ETL developers and supervised high school interns and other contractors. Dustin's tech stack includes Software Engineering, JavaScript, Redux, Mobile, UI, Web, SQL, and ETL. He is interested in logic puzzles, soccer tactics, Thai food, the importance of travel, and cats. Dustin is an international software engineer who enjoys discussing software systems and the interactions between the clever people necessary in creating them.
